...until I photograph and list what I've already made. I counted today - six necklaces, four anklets, 30 pairs of earrings, ten rings and five bracelets are languishing in my studio. I am determined to get them listed and I think not allowing myself to make jewelry will be a motivator. I wonder how long I will manage to stick to my pledge before I'm back to making jewelry that I don't list?  Dawn |

When I was using Etsy, I found listing arduous. I get it.

I hate listing. I always tried to do it in four items step to keep up, but my motivation has sunk since I haven't been promoting since February. I listed one piece yesterday just to feel accomplished.
You got this, Dawn! Just imagine us waiting for you to show us new pieces. You wouldn't want to have us wait too long, would you?

I hate the listing part too. My difficulty is mostly with the photographs and putting the words together. It usually takes me a year and a day to do only one!

Make one, list one. That's what I try to do. I think it helps in particular on Etsy to list something new everyday. But yes, listing is such a chore.

You ladies are an inspiration. Well, I haven't succeeded in my goal, but I have been listing more pieces and listing more often. I'm trying to break it down into steps. Takes photos of several pieces. Then edit the selected photos. Then spend time listing. I spread it out over a few days instead of trying to get it all done at once and it doesn't seem as overwhelming to me that way. Dawn |
