I'm still making earrings. What's happening here?? I was asked to make another pair of the stainless steel earrings with crystals, but not necessarily with the same loops and curves. I managed to make the curves too narrow to make the crystals look well because of their size, so I used amethysts and pearls for this pair instead.

Love them! So elegant and sophisticate, they are fit for a swanky night out on the town. I think what's happened is that Mabel has finally introduced you to your earrings muse! Dawn

These are awesome! I’m so impressed by your ability to make the same wire twists twice. So pretty!

Thank you ladies! Dawn, maybe Mabel went to an earring class Michelle, it's something I suck at, that's one reason why I avoid earrings, it drives me nuts if earrings are quite different. This kind is rather easy, though. I have a wooden dowel from one of my bead looms, and I put both wires on it at the same time and bend. They try to slip apart, especially when I do a loop, but I think I've finally worked out how it doesn't get too bad. I wish I had more dowel like things in other sizes ... where are my big knitting needles?

I looked at them again. How brilliant you are Cat! They both form the shape of a cat when you view them from the top:)

Thank you, Chimpy! Michelle, try curves without loops first to get a feeling for it, at least that's how I did it. Irith, since you said that I can't unsee it, in fact I have been thinking about how I may be able to use it on purpose in a design!

Oooooooo, Irith. You're right - they do form the shape of a cat. Can't wait to see what Cat's busy little brain does with that! Dawn
