I'm blaming Michelle for this one. "Why don't people use stainless steel more?" I know it now. Because they order gauges that their poor old hands can't handle, but now they are stuck with it! Took me quite a while for that reason, but I have to admit the steel looks very nice with the larvikite.

Lovely, Cat! It's nice to see you creating! I really like the silver color with the stones.
Stainless steel? I can't imagine how hard that would be on one's hands. Ouch!

Cat, I'm sorry that your hands took a beating, but that stainless steel sure makes for a pretty pendant. It's really beautiful! I've been thinking about trying stainless, but not sure I want to wrestle with it. Good for you for sticking with it! Dawn

Beautiful pendent. I didn't realise it was so hard to work with.

This pendant is so beautiful! I realize how difficult if is to work with stainless steel, which makes me appreciate this beauty even more!

Oh Cat, that is absolutely gorgeous! I love it! I’m sorry stainless steel is such a mean metal to work with, but really worth it imho. If it wouldn’t cost more to mail it than it’s worth, I’d offer to purchase the wire.
If you do something with copper soon after, the copper will feel so soft.

Thank you all for your kind comments! Michelle, I only got a small spool of each one to try it out, so that's ok. I have beginning arthritis in both thumbs and my left index finger started giving me trouble, too, which makes the steel more difficult to me. Things just take longer these days.
