While I prefer toggles I am cursed with both a small wrist size and just darned stubbornness. I'm trying to make a bracelet with Azurite and bead caps with gold bead spacers. If I take away one unit the length is too short. If I try for a different length clasp that can be done with one hand the bracelet is too long. And my hands shake quite a bit right now so even if I get one half of another clasp in position my hands shake the bracelet and off it goes, along with my last nerve. Soooo, I'm ready to try a mag one and probably a safety chain. (I can't tell you the words I use when seeing new bead magazine patterns that always seems to display bracelets built with "sections/medallions". Either four are too many or three are too few. Or maybe I could tell but best not.) If I were to use the thingie that holds one half so you could attach the other there's no guarantee my fingers wouldn't spasm and open.
Any brands you folks use more than others?

That is a difficult one. Personally I like the magnetic slide clasps but you do need to be accurate when sizing. x

Caroline, I was never sure about the magnetic tube clasps. I somehow got the idea that one half simply rested over the other. So, YouTube to the rescue! Just getting tube clasps to line up is a hassle so these look good.

I have some magnetic clasps I got from Rio. They hold incredibly well.

Gayle, is there a special product name or shape? I was looking through and trying to get my bead stash in some kind of order and found a magnetic clasp, round and I remember the shop owner telling me that they were the best she had ever seen but she didn't tell me the maker of them. They're pretty strong.

Shoot. Let me look... Actually, I found these on Rings & Things' website. They're the ones I have used and they're pretty secure, in my experience. The ones in the first row are what I have.

Sue, would a stretchy bracelet work for your design? I know they tend to stretch out over time and the stretchy cord can get brittle, but they sure are easy to put on and take off. Dawn

Thanks, Gayle, I think they will suit very well. Dawn, I can't use stretch cord because the rectangular stones would both strain (with the added weight of the bead caps) and fray it. I love stretch cord bracelets.
