I'm making a pair of these for myself today in green. I'll play around with the spiders and see what I can do. Dawn

I think you should try both versions. The legless spiders - let's think they are just hiding their legs - might creep out some people not as much while others might prefer the extra creepy touch. Anyway, they are adorable the way they are now, I would wear them in a heartbeat.

Thanks Cat! That's a good idea. Didn't get a chance to play with legs today because time ran out, but I did finish the green spiderweb earrings and am wearing them now. Funny, I've made all these different colors of earrings and this green pair is the first time I tried on the cobwebs. They look really cool! Dawn

Very pretty set of colorful earrings. Wonderful idead. They remind me of dream catchers too, rather than spiders. (I don't like spiders either).

Yesterday a post of mine on FB which was about me naming my spiders and talking to them got more attention than, well, I almost think any of my posts ever. Have you noticed how much we talk about spiders here on JAC? *lol* So instead I'll totally hijack this thread to show you a random armadillo.

Thank you, Irith! Based on the comments here, I think I'm going to try my hand at dream catcher earrings. Cat, how can something so homely be so adorable? He makes me think of a dragon what with the scales, armor, three toed claws, long ears and long nose. This is definitely an "awwwwww" moment! Dawn

Cat, armadillos are in my neck of the woods. In fact, I think one of them has been digging a hole under our hollies. They eat grubs in the soil, so they dig holes looking for them.
Since they're nocturnal, I rarely see a live one. Unfortunately, they like crossing roads at night which usually doesn't end well for them.

Awww. Cute armadillo.
Yeah. You guys talk too much about spiders! They creep me out, if you didn't know that.
Cat, I loved your spider commenters on Facebook. You are a crazy spider lady!
