I can't resist showing this because it took me so long, and I can't believe it's finally done! This is a 1977 Supersize Christie. She is 18 inch tall and she has big feet. Also I didn't want to cut her hair, so I had a few problems to solve. Have I mentioned that it's finally done?!

One word: STUNNING!!!!! Cat, your dolls are amazing and the detail you put into their costumes is incredible. If you have any interest in selling these, I'll bet there is definitely a market for them. Not necessarily vintage Barbie dolls, but dolls in these beautiful costumes. Can't wait to see the next one! Christie is fabulous. I'm in awe. You should be proud to show this one. You've outdone yourself.

Thank you so much! Dawn, I think it would take the fun out for me if I made them to sell. Also there are so many hours in this, I can't even imagine the price I would have to ask. It would probably be too frustrating if they didn't sell then. This is very different for me to making jewelry.

Great post, Cat. You must have been ready to banish Ponder far, far away from any beads, warps and looms! DAwn

He went into time out for a few minutes, yes. Then again I really was involved the first time, so maybe he thought that's what he had to do *lmao*
Thank you, Gayle!
The next one is going to be very different. I just re-rooted the head today and have to wait until tomorrow. By then the glue should be dry enough so I can brush the hair. Then one more accessory and she's good to go!

Thank you, Carina The next one is finished, too. The very easy technique I learned for the last accessory will probably turn up in the stash challenge.
