What about using different kinds of filters, Sue? I'm not even sure that today's cameras accommodate filters??? If they do, will using filters improve product photography? Dawn

Maybe talk about contrast. How to use certain tools to increase color, contrast and depth, and sharpness in your pictures. This could be useful if your picture is a bit too light and/or needs some pop.

Could you write about using Photoshop to tinker with pictures? Or how about some advice on how to size photos for web use. I have Photoshop and it will size pictures in pixels, inches and some other things, but I never know what they are talking about. If you click to enlarge my picture in the Nicole challenge thread, you will see that I don't know what I'm doing.

Great ideas for topics; thanks, gals!
Dawn, I'll need to research filters a bit. I checked tabletopstudio's site but nothing for jewelry there. I'm thinking there must be some application for filters if only in PhotoShop. Using filters on the camera itself would mean the lens would need some place for attaching them.
J3j, I do the "color" thing constantly as well as a bit of sharpening and working with adding or decreasing shadows for depth. It has made a great difference in my pics, so this is another great topic.
Sophy, maybe I can do a brief explanation today in a new topic.
