I have got a custom order for a riveted copper cuff. I thought whilst I am at it I make some more annealed... textured... cut to size ... formed/ corners off The formed one will stay rivet-less, the other 3 will be embellished....lots of filing to do tomorrow...

I looking forward to continuing this afternoon. First of all I have to attack all the weeds in the front garden and pavement that are trying to conquer the place whilst we were on holiday.

Very nice to see the process. And I never thought that you'd rivet before forming. Duh!

I never thought that either. My first cuff was first formed then riveted. But it was so difficult for me to locate exactly where I wanted to punch to holes. Then I tried it the other way, first riveting then forming, I was a bit scared that when I form the cuff the rivets will break or the hole will rip or deform....but...it worked...

It's really great to see the process. I'm another one who wouldn't have thought you'd rivet first!

Wow, loving seeing the process of how this is done.
Maybe we should have more like this with us showing how we make things.

Maybe other people do the forming first. But for me the riveting first works great (so far ) I try to remember to make some photos of the riveting process. It is dead easy with my little tool.

... and now the other two cuffs I did not like the look of the unriveted one, so I hammered it flat again and riveted it after all Yestrday I have oxidized them and later today I will scrub them with steel wool, then back in the tumbler
