Very neat! Would you tell us more about it? Yep sure..it's made of wood.....well mdf to be exact.......it has legs........ ;D ;D ;D Seriously though, it came flat packed from 'Fred Alous looms.' Over all it is about a foot long. I like to loom at an angle so I made some legs and bolted them on the side. It can handle up to 86 warps wide. The rollers are adjustable to change the tension if needed. I have also put a magnetic strip on the side (stuck down with red electrical tape) to hold my needles when not in use. To stop the loom from sliding around on my desk when I am working I put 'Blue Tac' under the feet. Want to know anything else just ask. x ;D ;D

Oh my, I love the fact that it has legs. Looks easier to work with that way.

I like the legs as well; it must be back breaking to look flat. Nice modifications, Lotty. Post a pic when it's warped (woofed?).

Serious question ... do you have to hide your loom from the cats when it's warped? Mine is hidden away in my wardrobe on my t-shirt shelf (which seems to tell me I need more t-shirts if I got free space there).

I am going to warp up again soon so will put a piccy up.
Cat as for the furry boys they don't bother with it at all. I have a desk in my spare bedroom that I use and I can even leave my beads out and they are just not interested. I am very lucky with them. They are quite happy to sleep on the spare bed and watch me from there.

The legs on the loom are a BRILLIANT idea. I've been propping mine up against books! Which is a much more frustration-risking choice. Thank you for the inspiration!

Yes, I think that sounds like it would be a bit of a pain - a lot of easel for a relatively small amount of wood. I also just read your post giving details about it more carefully, and so saw your idea about having a magnetic strip on the side for your needles. Another brilliant idea!
