I have been into micro macrame (practically literally since the length of beading cord is enough to drive you crazy). C-Lon beading cord will take Delicas and I imagine Tohos as well. My question, since I have never used Tohos: how do they compare? I know they are very consistent as size goes. Is there anything else? Colors? Shapes?

Tohos are beautiful beads. Very even in size. Toho call their cylinder bead equivalent Treasures, or there are their top quality line of cylinders - Aikos. Delicas are Miyuki.
Toho Treasures and Aikos are gorgeous - more expensive, but definitely gorgeous! There are fewer colours than Miyuki offer in their Delica palette.

Cat, thanks, that thread helped quite a lot. I am looking for round beads that are as consistent in size as possible but have just a bit of variation if needed (yup, I know that sounds contradictory). For some applications the square Delicas don't look right (I will not be looming or doing beadwork that requires precision). I also came up with BelloMondo as a supplier but will check them a bit closer. The best news I found that Toho rounds had exactly the colors I was looking for. I will also give Miyukis another look.
