Wayyyyy back on another forum the topic of cutting Fireline was hot. Finally, I have a chance to use up some beads so got my first little spool, 4 lb test. I tried my kitchen scissors but it took three times before cutting completely. What works best?

I use flush cutters. I think fireline can actually dull your scissors with enough use.

I use fingernail clippers for all sorts of trimming, including light gauge silver. Gets in close, too.

It does dull scissors after awhile - I use a cheap pair of manicure scissors.

Both great ideas; would never have thought about nail clippers.

Discovered it one day when I couldn't find my favorite pair of wire cutters
