A little something. Folded peyote in zigzag with three of the glass beads that haven't ever fitted in with anything. I have more of these kind of glass beads, most of them some kind of blue, some color lined in clear glass, different sizes. This is a picture fresh of the bead mat, I'll take a better one tomorrow.

Nicely done, Cat! I love the zig zag and I think you found a terrific way to use the glass beads. I know any sort of asymmetrical or mismatched designs are hard on our brains, but the three different shades of blue really works. I knew you'd come up with something fab! Dawn

And, here is mine. I was actually able to use three types of beads I thought I'd never use. It has a sort of retro 60's vibe, I'd say. The focal is a large wood(?) bead that has been wrapped in orange, red and lime green cotton cord. I found it in a bin at the Olde Curiosity Shoppe along with it's sibling that is pink and blue. They have been in my stash for many years and I have never been able to think what to do with them. The orange shell donut beads are from a piece of costume jewelry that belonged to my mom and the lime green beads are new jade that I bought when I was first starting to make jewelry. I've never been able to find a use for them either. But, all together, I think they work. I'm also kind of proud of the links I made for the orange beads. I soldered bands on to the orange beads. Once that was done, I heated the solder until it was molten and stamped the texture into them, added the loops and darkened them so the texture would stand out more. I'm quite happy with how those turned out. Dawn

Thank you, Dawn I figured since the cube beads had different colors, the dangles could, too. That is so 60s!! Absolutely awesome and I love the links you made for the donuts, so clever! You really knocked this one out of the park.
