I remember looking for ways to anneal wires without a torch when I was crocheting with bronze and brass wire, but didn't find anything. I didn't want to use a torch back then and didn't like the idea of annealing, working, annealing, working anymore, so I never tried it. Of course that was years and years ago, though, so maybe now someone has come up with something. If you use ordinary copper wire you don't need to anneal to work with it. I have used up to 0.6 mm for weaving without a problem and never wanted to use thicker wire.

I am not sure Dawn. I suppose you have to try it once with a piece of wire and see if it helps. Sounds logical. Of course - wait for it to cool off first - Something which you surely know by yourself:)
