This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is HARVEST. The challenge is to post something that depicts HARVEST COLORS.
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made 5 years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see lots of creative pics of your HARVEST inspired creations.
At the end of the challenge Cat will make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on her blog to share what a talented crowd this is! She will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?

My turn! I'm on a roll for being early this week...
I chose these because they carry the fall colors that I love so much:
These are the earrings I made for our Sept/Oct challenge. They represent vines and fruit and the beads with their flecks of blue, green, orange, red and yellow feature all the colors I associate with Autumn and the harvest:
While this isn't a true sunflower, it reminds me of one and sunflowers are one of the last flowers of the season before the cold and frost sets in. The birds and the humans are busy harvesting their seeds.
Here we have a rendering of a sunflower, but just the petals:
I must have a thing for sunflowers...

Cat, I think you nailed the "harvest" concept. I love the basket and the miniature apples! Amazing.
Dawn your pieces definitely brought out the harvest theme in colors. They made me think of the potted mums we had at my grandmother's house during the fall. I always loved those colors. The 2nd pair of earrings are my favorite. The focal stones makes me think of a burning ember for some reason.
You know, I think you nailed it with your comment about the beads in the second pair of earrings. They do have a sort of glowing ember from within look about them. They caught my eye the moment I saw them in a Florida thrift store and I knew right away I wanted them for a future project.
