I made these beads from a flat piece of sterling silver about 10 years ago and had them cast for me. Then - I simply didn't know what to do with them, or I planned something and didn't like it. I really can't remember exactly why I neglected them. This week I thought "November stone" and suddenly had an idea! I blackened two of them, then added two faceted Citrine beads and two sterling industrial ones. This is the result:

10 years is a long time, but the perfect design for them was worth the wait. The earrings are beautiful.

Very pretty, Irith! The contrast between the blackened silver and the soft yellow of the stones is amazing!

Oooooo, I really like those, Irith! I love the shape and texture of the silver beads; blackening them was a great idea. Dawn

Citrine is one of my favorite gems! I like the simplicity of the earrings, which are also very elegant at the same time. Beautiful!
