Why, Irith! I find it difficult to imagine you getting mad enough to hit one of your rings with a hammer! I must admit, the image in my head makes me smile. It looks like taking a hammer to the first ring was a good thing; this second one is gorgeous! I love the stone, the setting and everything else about it. Dawn

I’m sorry you had so much frustration, but this ring so lovely! The rhodonite stone is beautiful in the silver.

Sometimes people are enthusiastic about an idea, they spend time (and expenses) to create it and then something happens to ruin it. The thing is - I have a kind of belief that if something goes wrong, it is up to me to try to correct as best I can, or - leave it alone and go on with something new... well I'm talking too much now! Thank you very much lovely ladies:)

Every artisan needs hammers! I have several. This is such a happy result, and the wrinkle in the bezel adds interest that can only be seen by looking up close.

Irith, the folds are very organic and flow beautifully with the style. I love the setting. You definitely made a great save. I think you should consider doing more settings like it.

Dear Michele, thank you. I was just thinking I should try to do more like this. I think I will try without having to break a stone for this of course:)
