Here's a tutorial from Youtube for the popular leather wrap style bracelets. The craze has been going on for months and I was a little slow wanting to get on the bandwagon with it. I finally did and I now enjoy working them up. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BvINyknDtAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=iwPpsCHU6o4&feature=relatedHope it's okay to post my learning progress... Here's my first attempt that I used an antique glass button I've been wanting to use in something... My second go at it... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I came across another tutorial that plays with the basics of this type bracelet... honestlywtf.com/diy/diy-wrap-bracelet/I know I have some ball and chain around in my stash and I can always raid the hubby's garage for the hex nuts.

They are so pretty! I made one once, and I loved it. I have some extra crystals left over from that order... I think I need to make another one! Cindy go for it, you'll really like them.

Those are really nice! They are definitely all the rage nowadays. I like how you've paired them with the glass buttons.

Funny, I just raided a few of my Lampwork Etc. forum members Etsy shops. My mailbox has been stuffed with packages of lampwork buttons the last couple of days. I have a new stash forming here before my eyes. I can't wait to play with some of them with this leather wrap style bracelet and in some of my beaded crochet.

These are really easy to do on a loom also. I have made these that are up to 5 wide. Work up very quickly as well. Yours look great. x

How do you do them on a loom? I'm interested in how I can incorporate a loom into my jewelry making skills.

I've been eye spying the 3 to 5 wide and wondering how they do them. Someone on the Lampwork Etc. forum mentioned a loom as well. I've never done any beadwork on a loom but have always been interested in maybe adding it to my stash and learning something new. On this forum Cat does some stunning beadwork that always grabs my attention. It makes sense that this type bracelet would work up easier on and loom.

No one has added any pics thus far Okay, so I'm the only one struck in a rut still playing with these. The ladder or leather wrap bracelets are still so popular. Shared this in a Show and Tell thread and thought I'd add it here as well. Here's some more I finished over the summer and forgot to post here... Used a broken shell found during a trip to Sanibel Island in this one.

I think this thread had got lost.
*bump for Donia* Come on, people, I'm sure someone else tried it and has a picture to show? Donia, the blue is beautiful and my favorite of the lot!
