September/October is the time of year when summer is winding down and fall arrives. The harvest is in full swing, the days are still warm but the nights are crisp, the leaves begin to turn and the faint scent of wood smoke is on the air. I thought it would be fun to use this poem as inspiration for the September/October challenge...
