This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is JEWEL TONES. The challenge is to post something that incorporates JEWEL TONES.
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made 5 years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see lots of creative pics of your JEWEL TONE inspired creations.
At the end of the challenge Cat will make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on her blog to share what a talented crowd this is! She will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
I too, love the amethyst pendant Dawn. Beautifully done.
Thank you Cat. I've been experimenting. I hate to tell you what the background is. When we had a new roof put on a few months ago, I found a small stack of taupey gray metal flashing squares that the roofers left behind. I couldn't get the details in a picture of something copper, so I thought I'd try one of the metal squares as a background. I couldn't believe how the detail popped against the metal squares.
I made the leaves a while ago, but may not have posted them to S&T. It was such a busy year that I've been derelict in posting like I should. But, that is going to change now that things have started to settle down around here!
Good eye on spotting Michele's new background, Cat! That is striking, Michele. I love it when found things or things that usually wouldn't get a second look work out so well.
