This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is DANGLES. The challenge is to post something that incorporates a DANGLE.
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made 5 years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see lots of creative pics of your DANGLE inspired creations.
At the end of the challenge Cat will make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on her blog to share what a talented crowd this is! She will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
I have to apologize to all of you for missing the last couple of weekly challenges. My time online has been limited lately and before I know it the week is over. We're going home on Saturday, so I should be less distracted than I've been during our time on the coast.
So pretty! That last pendant would be great for a challenge I said I'd participate in (and shame, I still haven't made anything for ours, mostly because I don't have any turquoise and red which is all I can think of )
I love dangly pieces, always have, so dangles are not at all unusual in my work. Here are some of mine.
Very pretty, Cat! I knew you'd be along soon because I know how you love dangles.
No worries about the challenge; I haven't had a chance to make anything either, although I did buy some beads in the right colors. When I get home this weekend, I plan to start working on a challenge piece.
Besides turquoise or red, I think other colors that would work are earth tones like brown, rusty orange and even green. Either copper or silver would work equally as well too.
