It's been almost a year since Caroline sent me her Bollywood necklace pattern. How I kept the beads in order (only 4 colors): I had a completed necklace done with white Nymo thread but decided the white stood out too much against the green side beads: And if you look very closely you'll see where I goofed and the first few rows under the "V" are columns and not checkerboard. Sooo, I did a bit of Googling and came up with Hana thread mentioned on "The Spruce" blog (which mentions practically everything about everything): The Hana thread is slightly thinner than Nymo but more rounded. It made attaching fringe sections and sewing end threads into the Delicas much easier, being thinner. The loomed piece has a nice drape to it, almost fluid. I saw a picture of fringe using stone beads and different shapes so my supply of glass leaves and stones that were in the same shades as the Delicas worked; and black works with almost anything. (The first fringe on either side of the middle is slightly shorter but I decided to go with it because the final fringe ( ) wound up nicely full. I'll take a picture of the finished piece when I get a new clock battery for my camera.)

Neat! I can't wait to see the finished piece.
I have never heard of Hana thread before, but that's not unusual as I still have enough Nymo to work with (if I ever manage it back to beading at all - she said with an eyeroll).

What I know about bead weaving would fit on the head of a pin. But what I do know is that is going to be beautiful when it's finished! Dawn

Oh WOW, that is looking amazing. You have really done a good job with it. I can't wait to see it finished. As for the little 'error'. It looks like part of the design so don't worry. As for the white thread on the edges I shall let you into a little secret if I don't like the edge..........(sharpie pens)

How beautiful! I second Irith - I'd love to see the finished product, if you still have it, koolbraider!
Caroline, your sharpie pen tip made me laugh. Genius! And I really like your curly wurly signature.
