This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is EGYPTIAN. The challenge is to post something that has an EGYPTIAN vibe.
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made 5 years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see lots of creative pics of your EGYPTIAN inspired creations.
At the end of the challenge Cat will make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on her blog to share what a talented crowd this is! She will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
WOW You all have some Egyptian beauties here. Carina and Dawn, you jewelry is beautiful and feminine. I am sure the Egyptian ladies would have loved them then, as much as modern women of the world today!
Cat, I admire how you translated these unique Egyptian symbols into your own style. Admirable!
Not sure I have any. I will search through my stuff.
Cleopatra the Egypian queen (well everyone knows about her!) used eye shadow made of ground Lapis Lazuli, so perhaps this ring?
The eye shape in this ring, remotely reminds me of the ancient Egyptian eye
