This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is BOHO. The challenge is to post something that is BOHO style. It’s open to interpretation.
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made 5 years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see lots of creative pics of your BOHO creations.
At the end of the challenge Cat will make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on her blog to share what a talented crowd this is! She will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
Cat, I haven't yet posted because I've been pondering the meaning of boho all week as I'm never sure exactly what that means either. Like Caroline, I think of it as something that has a hippy feel to it. Lots of color, dangly, fringe, tassles and so on. I imagine a person who has boho style as wearing flowing skirts, tie dye, sandals, lots of bangles, long dangly earrings (maybe big hoops)and peasant style blouses covered with a shawl on cool days. They carry big cloth bags and have long hair that is usually worn loose and don't wear much make-up.
I don't know how close that is, but that's how I picture boho. Now I'm off to see what I have that fits that description.
