A couple of months ago I made some square, hammered pendants and I liked them. But something was missing and I finally figured it out! You see, when I made them they were flat. I recently bought myself a wooden dapping block and now I cannot stop adding dimension to just about anything I can get my hands on. I have been stuck on the squares for a while, just love them. Do you ever get into creating with certain kinds of shapes and that's all you do for a while? Sure seems to be the way it goes with me. Wonder what'll grab ahold of me next...

Those are fabulous Karin. I love the texture. The curves are a great addition to the design. I also love the riveted bail.

They are really beautiful! A great frame for the beads.
I know the feeling of being attracted by a shape, for a while all my loomed pendants were rectangular (the easiest way), then they became round and finally I went on to free form pendants.

Thank you Michele! I always try to include as many techniques as I can in my designs. I am in love with this texture, it is so versatile. Adding dimension is what made these pendants work better. The beads are chunky and when the pendants were flat they just didn't want to lay right. Now they look better and they are more comfortable:)

Cat, for a while I was heavily into scrolls, then waves, then I had my sleek minimalist phase... I guess that's artistic evolution at work;)

Fabulous work, Karin! Love the shapes, the textures, the rivets and the beads you've used. I'm sure they were beautiful before, but that curved shape really gives the a little something extra. You've inspired me to get my long neglected dapping block out; not even sure where it is! Dawn

Karin, sometimes the best solution works out to be the simplest. You definitely added the best and they are fantastic!
