Guess you'll be standing outside your studio to breath often. Great owl; not only does he look wise but he also looks like he's about to say something wise.

Alrighty Dawn and Cat, you guys made me laugh this morning! I haven't tried resin on account of the dog hair that seems to be everywhere in my household no matter how much I sweep and vacuum - and the kiddo who makes it his life's mission to always scatter dirt wherever I have just cleaned. It is a plot to drive me clinically insane, or make me give up on houseplants once and for all... Cat! I loved that blog post, because I am sure something similar has happened to us all! I have to say that reading instructions in two different languages is just one more of the many advantages of being bilingual, although I have not found Finnish to be a whole lot of help, either, not even upside down;)! Dawn, the owl actually goes perfectly with your comments as it appears to have that distinct "What do you think you're doing?" or "Are you sure you want to do this?" questioning look on its face! I adore it! Karin

Hoo boy, we don't have any pets right now, but do I remember fighting dog hair. And, those little pieces of fuzz that float on the air. When I would spray pendants with a glossy sealer, the air conditioner had to be turned off for a minimum of 30 minutes before and after spraying so that whatever tiny particles were flying around would settle down. All these things we go through for the sake of our art, are pretty funny - LATER! Glad you like the owl, Karin. I was sort of thinking of keeping it, but the lady who bought it is one of my best customers and it's a rare day that I say "no" to her! Dawn

Karin, that's why I gave up on polymer clay. Clay and cat hair don't go along. And there's my own long hair, too. I always manage to make the wrong move and get it stuck in liquid clay or glue or whatever. At least beads don't eat my hair. Re Finnish .... I like a challenge!

Finnish is a funny language with all the double letters and such! I am fond of Turkish myself. My brother's joke: Turkish gentleman opens a McDonald's restaurant. His name is Ismir Übel! Sorry everyone else it's funnier in German, but the name translates to I am nauseous;) Karin
